Your Denver Muay Thai Coaches
The coaches who lead every Muay Thai class at Easton Denver — and who will walk you through your very first day on the mats.
Muay ThaiSean Madden
Muay Thai Black ShirtSean Madden grew up in Colorado Springs and found Muay Thai at Easton while finishing a finance degree at CU Boulder — no prior martial arts, just a workout he wanted to change up. The intensity hooked him immediately, and within a year he was training every day. When Duane Ludwig left Easton, Sean took over his Friday classes and has been coaching ever since. He coaches because he feels an obligation to pass on what his own coaches gave him. Some students learn by listening and some by watching, and he treats reading that correctly as the instructor's job. Alongside technique he's after a work ethic and a never-quit attitude — the way you train being the way you live.

What Denver Members Say
“All the instructors are friendly, knowledgeable, and excellent teachers. It’s a fantastic community environment and I’ve made some friends through training as well. Muay Thai has really helped me through a very dark period in my life and Easton is a big part of that journey!”
“I had a great experience visiting this gym! As soon as I walked in I immediately was welcomed and felt at home. I took Alea’s classes and Sean’s class. I learned a lot while I trained here. I was treated like part of the Easton family from the GM Carlos, the coaches and all the staff.”
“I've tried many places throughout Denver and Easton really feels like home. They are welcoming and helpful from the moment you step in the gym and continue to be day in and day out. The work is hard, but rewarding and the coaches are very attentive and focused on the individual as much as they are the group. For my money there's no place better in the Denver area.”
“The best gym in Colorado! The owner is one of the best coach in USA and represents USA for the international championships! He’s not only a coach is cares of his students and helps as he can them to teach their goal so if you’re around here make a stop!”
“It's one of the best fighting gyms around. This place is great for people getting into fighting. The staff is very professional and very welcoming. The schedule is very accommodating and the coaches are very experienced. The gym is always clean and orderly.”
“I’ve been to 5 mma gyms throughout my life and Easton is the best. The community at Easton is amazing and everyone is so friendly. Even as a white belt they are always so reassuring. The instructors are super knowledgeable and amazing. Would recommend to anyone.”
Train Muay Thai at Easton Denver
Our Denver Muay Thai program teaches real, technical striking — from your first combination to fight-ready sparring. Train at your level: experienced students join Muay Thai classes from day one, and newcomers build the foundation first.
Sean Madden is where Muay Thai at Easton traces back to. He walked in with no martial arts background at all — a finance student who wanted to change up a workout — and within a year he was on the mats every day; when Duane Ludwig left Easton, Sean took over his classes and has coached them ever since. Six of Easton's striking coaches came up under him: Matt Bloss at Boulder, Mike Phipps at Longmont, Razz Gormley, Kate Silvester, and — here in Denver, teaching alongside him — Travis Williams and Daniel Amaro.
