Martial Arts for Kids in Denver
Easton Denver runs two kids programs, and between them they take children from four through thirteen. Parents arrive here for all sorts of reasons — a child who needs an outlet, a child who is being pushed around at school, a child who has tried three sports and stuck with none — and the room is built to take all of them. You do not need to know anything about martial arts to start, and neither does your child.
Kids at Easton Denver can train Brazilian jiu jitsu or Muay Thai, and move between them without leaving the building. The jiu jitsu comes down through Eliot Marshall — a UFC veteran and one of Easton's owners, who still teaches here — and his students run the daily kids classes, led by William Timbs, a 2–1 professional competitor. The striking side belongs to the Muay Thai program Sean Madden leads; most of Easton's striking coaches across Colorado came up under him.
