The Kids BJJ Competition Team Scholarship
We created the Kids BJJ Competition Team Scholarship so that a young competitor's growth is never limited by what a season costs. Each year we award five students a $500 scholarship toward their Travel Season expenses.
What it covers
Five recipients each receive a $500 scholarship toward 2026 Travel Season expenses — the travel, registration and gear that come with the national events our Easton Tigers attend. The vision for our Kids program is to serve as the foundation for our future leaders and champions, and this scholarship invests directly in that.
How we select recipients
- Competitive record and experience, as documented on eastonpodium.com — data compiled from roughly 27 local tournaments over 3+ years, designated as Easton events.
- Financial need — a family's financial status and income are considered in the selection process.
- Attendance and commitment across programs — Tigers, Advanced and Competition classes — plus a commitment to extracurricular study and additional work.
- Character — exemplary students who consistently demonstrate our four principles, and who coaches can point to as models for their peers.
Applicants can further distinguish themselves with an optional personal statement — a short 2–3 minute video, or a written essay of 300–500 words — giving evaluators insight into a candidate’s character and goals.
How to apply
The application takes just a few minutes. Complete the form, add a personal statement if you’d like, and our coaches personally review every submission.
