Youth Muay Thai in Boulder

Our Boulder Kids Muay Thai program (ages 7–13) teaches technical striking in a disciplined, encouraging room. It builds coordination, focus, and confidence — no experience needed to start.

The scrimmage Boulder's Tigers compete in was built by their own coach. Matt Bloss started the kids side of the Solid Series Muay Thai Scrimmage and calls it his proudest contribution to the sport — he coaches the class with Kate Silvester, who names coaching kids and scrimmage prep first among what she is known for. Between them: a Black Shirt and the Blue Shirt he promoted.

Your First Class

What to Expect on Day One

Your child's first class is built to be fun. They'll warm up with a game, pair up with a partner and learn a real technique, and our team makes sure they feel at home from the moment they walk in.

What to wear & bring

Comfortable athletic clothes and a water bottle. We'll lend your child gloves and shin guards for the first class.

What happens in class

Class starts with a game, then the coach pairs kids up, and the more experienced partner looks after the newer one. Kids watch the coach show a technique, practice it with their partner, and finish with supervised, beginner-friendly live rounds focused on engagement and fun. Parents are welcome to watch from the side.

Our two kids loved it -- wonderful experience at Easton. I appreciated the staff from Fernie to owner Matthew and all the instructors. I could see our kids building confidence, even as beginners to these martial arts. I know "jiu jitsu" and "kickboxing" might be intimidating terms, but we found Easton is a welcoming place. Where people come to improve themselves and experience community.
