I love everything about Easton BJJ. The culture, instruction, schedule of classes, etc. I am proud to represent our family and look forward to continuing to better myself as a member of the Easton team. In the spirit of honesty and sincerity I do have one thing to mention: I feel the discounts available for parents that wish to bring their kids on could be better. Last I checked it was 10% off... I know of other gyms that offer deeper discounts to help promote the idea of an entire family training. The best example I know of: one of my good friends trains in AZ and his gym offers 25% discount for the second family member that joins, then 50% discount for the third, etc.. the concept is to get the entire family on the mat for as long as possible and they try to make it more affordable as they hope to have lifetime students. I debated whether or not to share my thoughts but last time I took my kids in for a free family class (it was a Saturday and the class was taught by coach Brian) I noticed a big imbalance in the number of people attending versus those that actually train. Most of the attendees did not actively train while a small percentage did. Remembering this reminded me to share my thoughts... I am not asking for Easton BJJ to change its business model nor am I complaining. I am not going anywhere and will continue to train for as long as humanly possible... I do, however, feel it is worth sharing my views on how the gym could improve. The primary reason is I have an eight year old and a five year old. Eventually I will get them on the mat but I would like be able to get them on sooner. Oss. Thank you. [NAME REMOVED] [PHONE NUMBER REMOVED]

I used to love Easton. For awhile we had such great coaches, Fernando was fabulous, Velore taught n that was flipping awesome, n best of all Max. Now i come to class n get Rachelle as a coach????? Im sorry but winning two smokers against lame opponents doesnt qualify someone to coach. Maybe if i wasnt used to having such amazing coaches with so much experience then i would be okay with it but thats not the case. Its like signing up for a college class expecting to learn from a Phd only to find out that the TA is taking over class with the Phd's supervision. It just sucks. Im so disappointed in Easton. And the shirt system is a joke.
