Martial Arts for Kids in Littleton
Easton Littleton runs one kids program — Brazilian jiu jitsu — and it takes children from four through thirteen. It is a grappling martial art: kids learn to control a partner and get out of bad positions, with no punching or kicking. Parents arrive here for all sorts of reasons — a child who needs an outlet, a child who is being pushed around at school, a child who has tried three sports and stuck with none — and the room is built to take all of them. You do not need to know anything about martial arts to start, and neither does your child.
Nick Mavrick runs Easton Littleton, and the competition day he talks about most is the one in 2023 when he and his daughter each won a belt at the same NAGA tournament. He still teaches the advanced Tigers himself, and Brian Louviere — a black belt Nick promoted — has coached the kids here since 2014.
