What Castle Rock Members Say
“I have been coming to Easton just under a month now and have loved every second! I tried bjj about 5 years ago and stopped due to a combination of things which left me feeling really intimidated to try bjj again. Erin got me to sign up for the free class and I had so much fun, though. Coach Kevin and Coach Ray, as well as everyone else at the gym, are extremely helpful, patient, welcoming, and kind. I am extremely out of shape and haven’t been made to feel bad about it at all. I love that there are a decent amount of women who train here too. Really excited to keep learning and growing at Easton!”
“I have been going to Easton for roughly a year now. Everything about the school has been fantastic. The students, instructors, mat space, etc. The atmosphere is focused around all the students, not just a small group of the high achieving students. For background I started training bjj 20 years ago.”
“I’ve had an amazing experience at Easton Training Center. The instructors are highly skilled and passionate, providing excellent guidance. The welcoming and supportive community makes every class enjoyable. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to learn and grow in jiujitsu.”
“Easton in Castle Rock delivers the high-quality experience you expect from the Easton Training Center community. The instruction is great, and the crowd is super diverse in terms of age, skill level, and background. I've moved around a lot and belonged to several schools. If you live in Castle Rock, Colorado, this is simply the BEST choice.”
“This is an outstanding place to learn and get in shape! I have been coming to Easton for almost 2.5 years and I love it here. Professor Derek Alumbaugh and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and professional. No matter your experience, you will feel welcomed, and part of the family”
“Absolutely amazing facility with top level performers and team members. The instructors are patient, passionate and the definition of leaders. Ju Jitsu has helped transform my life, if you’re looking to level up and do so with an amazing community, I highly recommend Easton!”
Train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Easton Castle Rock
Our Castle Rock Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program runs from true-beginner fundamentals to advanced and competition training. No experience needed to start — most people walk in having never grappled, and experienced grapplers get a room full of training partners to push them.
Derek McCracken had a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and 23 years in it before he ever looked at jiu jitsu — and he only looked because he wanted to teach his own students a few basics. He took one class at Castle Rock and never went back. He runs the program here now, a brown belt promoted by Derek Alumbaugh, with medals at every belt from white through brown. “How you do anything is how you do everything.”
