Our Denver Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program builds focus, confidence, and self-defense in a structured, supportive room. Classes are split by age and experience so every kid is challenged at the right level — first-timers through competitors.

William Timbs walked in on a friend's suggestion, was hooked after one class, and now runs Denver's kids program. He is a blue belt under Eliot Marshall with a 2–1 professional jiu jitsu record — the kids here are coached by someone still testing his own game, and learning closely from Marshall himself, a UFC veteran and one of Easton's owners, who teaches the advanced no-gi program in this building.

Your First Class

What to Expect on Day One

Your first class is free, and every part of it is built for someone who has never done this before.

What to wear & bring

Bring your child in comfortable clothes — we provide a loaner gi for the first class. A water bottle is all they need.

What happens in class

The first class is free. A coach who knows how to make a nervous first-timer feel at home pairs your child with a friendly partner and walks them through the basics. Parents watch from the side.

No experience? You belong here

No experience is needed to start. Most kids walk in never having grappled, and the room is built to welcome them from day one.

A longtime MMA fan, William moved to Denver looking for something to do, was told to stop by Easton and try a class, and was hooked after the first one — and now heads up Denver's kids jiu jitsu.
