Endless energy or a little shy? Kids Jiu-Jitsu turns it into confidence, discipline and a lot of fun.
Kids Jiu-Jitsu classes for ages 4–13. Your child learns real-world self-defense through leverage and ground control of their opponent, sharpens focus and makes new friends on the mats.
Why Choose Kids Jiu-Jitsu?
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teaches kids to use technique and leverage instead of size and strength — real, practical self-defense that builds genuine confidence. Just as importantly, it's a fun, structured way for them to burn energy, solve problems, and make friends.
Easton's program follows F.R.E.D. — Focus, Respect, Energy, and Discipline — the four habits we build in every class. Kids grow not just as martial artists but as young people, learning to lead, listen, and carry themselves with confidence on and off the mats.
Kids Jiu-Jitsu Programs at Easton
We group kids by age and stage so every child trains with the right partners, at the right pace, in a room built for how they learn. A coach places your child in the right group on their first day, so you don't have to work it out.
Little Tigers
Our youngest students start with foundational movements, coordination drills, and fun, engaging activities that introduce Jiu-Jitsu in a structured, playful way — building strong foundations and focus.
Tigers
Older kids focus on real technique, positional control, and discipline. Through drilling, partner work, and games, they develop skill and confidence — with Fundamentals and Intermediate Gi & No-Gi levels as they grow.

What Will My Child's First Class Look Like?
Your child's first class is built to be fun. They'll warm up with a game, pair up with a partner and learn a real Jiu-Jitsu technique, and our team makes sure they feel at home from the moment they walk in.
Once you book, someone from our team will reach out to get your child's name and set up their first class. They'll check in the day before to confirm and send you a digital waiver.
On the first day, arrive a few minutes early in comfortable athletic clothes. We'll lend your child a Gi, and introduce them to their coach and classmates.
Class starts with a game to get everyone moving, then the coach pairs kids up. Our students know the more experienced partner looks after the newer one, and that's a big part of the fun.
Kids watch the coach show a technique, then practice it with their partner while the coaches help everyone. The last part of class is most kids' favorite: supervised, beginner-friendly live rounds focused on engagement and fun.
