Boulder Bikes and Brews 2017 Recap

Boulder Bikes and Brews Returns

Easton Training Center held its second Boulder Bikes and Brews event on Saturday July 29th. It’s been two years since the last one, and we don’t intend to skip another summer. Starting in the early afternoon, students and staff members rode their bikes from the Boulder academy to a handful of local breweries and distilleries. Stops on the tour included: Twisted Pine Brewing Co, Fate Brewing Co, Upslope Brewing Co, Deviant Spirits, and J&L Distillery.

It was a warm, cloudy afternoon, and the Easton crew made use of Boulder’s extensive bike path network. The full route covered about six miles, and it was a fun way to spend an active afternoon outside the academy. Members of Easton Boulder’s Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and CrossFit programs pedaled as a pack between destinations. At each new spot, they bonded over beers and cocktails. Highlights included non-traditional bike transportation, Cards Against Humanity, group dabbing, and some tasty rice vodka samples at Deviant Spirits courtesy of owners and Easton members Christine and Edwin.

Thanks to everyone who made it out! If you didn’t, and you want to have your own Boulder Bikes and Brews excursion, check out this route map. Stay tuned for our next exciting social event!
