Coach Jarred Mercado of ETC Denver and Elevation Fight Team now holds the Victory Fighting Championship Featherweight title. He took on Alonzo Martinez on January 29th as part of the VFC 47 card in Omaha, NE. The fight went two rounds, with Jarred finishing Martinez by rear naked choke in the second. This fight was televised on the UFC Fight Pass, and Jarred’s win is a significant step toward fighting under the prestigious promotion.
