On Sunday October 2nd, Boulder members, staff, family, and friends gathered at Boulder Creek to take out the trash. Armed with gloves, trash bags, and a good deal of elbow grease, they combed the creekside and the creek path picking up litter. From beer cans to cigarette butts, the errant pair of pants, and even a long-buried camp stove, the amount of accumulated trash in the area was shocking. We’d like to make this community clean-up into an annual event, an opportunity for us to take our small but mighty community into the larger one, doing what we can to make it a better place for everyone. Civic stewardship is something we value highly, and are eager to pass along to the next generation. Thanks to everybody who came out for this event! Your time and effort made a big difference.
