Easton Centennial: What’s Been Happening Around the Gym?

We’ve recently modified our striking schedule and have added morning and noon classes! Check out the schedule and come try one of our newly offered classes today!

Beginning May 7th, we will be adding 4 new day time jiu jitsu classes to our schedule!
Professor Nick will be teaching Fundamentals Gi class Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12.
Professor Ethan will be teaching Advanced Gi class Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12.

Easton Centennial was active on the jiu jitsu competition front in the past weeks, with students competing at IBJJF Pan Ams, Grappling Industries Only Submission Only, NAGA Denver, and Submission Challenge tournaments. Congratulations to all our students who stepped out on the mats and competed!

Huge shout out to Coach Rachel for her phenomenal performance at the Colorado Muay Thai Annual Tournament April 7th! Not only is she a killer coach but an incredibly hard worker and we are so proud to have her represent our school!

Congratulations to Professor Cheri Muraski on her 3rd round finish to secure the Evolution Fighting Championships Women’s Flyweight Title!
An Easton black belt and member of the Elevation Fight Team, Cheri is a force to be reckoned with!
We’re so proud and excited for you, Professor!

Professor Eliot Marshall stopped by to guest teach no gi class on March 19th. He shared some of his world class jiu jitsu knowledge and we are so thankful to be able to learn from such a huge variety of incredible teachers at Easton! Thank you, Professor! We look forward to hosting you again!

Professor Nick and Coach Levi have been hosting group privates to help students’ overall jiu jitsu and competition fronts. Thank you to our coaches for always sharing their knowledge on and off the mats! Keep your eye out for any upcoming workshops to jump on the opportunity to step up your jiu jitsu game and always feel free to reach out to any professor or coach for one-on-one private lessons.

Featured Student(s) of the Month

Jade Hernandez and Trent Fontemont

We are excited to have Jade and Trent be our featured students this month!
Jade and Trent have been training at ETC Centennial since January after moving to Colorado from Louisiana.
Not only are they both incredible, technical training partners who can be found on the mats most nights of the week, they have been killing the competition scene! It’s not uncommon to see these guys catching extra rounds with students after class and putting in the work to take their game to the next level. Your work does not go unnoticed!
We are so excited and thankful to be able to call them our teammates and family at Easton. Thanks for being who you are, guys!

Featured Coach of the Month

Coach Levi Rowe is our featured coach this month! If you’re a jiu jitsu student at Easton Centennial, you most definitely know Coach Levi! He has recently become one of our pivotal no gi instructors for both evening no gi classes. He has also been hosting group privates and, without a doubt, has some killer knowledge to share! We are also especially thankful for Coach Levi’s dedication to our students outside the gym as well. Coach Levi can be seen running from mat to mat at all our local tournaments, dedicating his weekends to support our students. Not to mention, will jump in and coach ANY Easton student who is without a coach – Centennial student or not! We are so thankful to have such a knowledgable, helpful, and dedicated coach on our team. Thank you, Coach Levi!
