Congratulations to all of our Easton competitors!

In addition to some great, hard fought battles by our Easton athletes, viewers were treated on Friday night to a spectacular main event where IBJJF black belt world champion Lucas Barbosa squared off with Roberto Jimenez, who has won multiple IBJJF titles at purple and brown and was previously undefeated on the F2W circuit. These athletes put on an incredible and fast-paced performance that kept us on our toes right up to Barbosa’s win by arm bar.

Bruce Bugbee Earns His Black Belt

Fight 2 Win Pro

Another highlight of the evening was the crowning of Easton’s newest black belt! Bruce Bugbee, a competitor and instructor at the Easton Arvada academy, won his no gi match against Thomas Stevenson with a rear naked choke. When the match ended, Professor Eliot Marshall took the stage to award Bruce his black belt. It was a huge moment of triumph for Bruce, who had endured multiple injuries, surgeries, and setbacks during his brown belt career. Congratulations to our newest professor!
