On Saturday, March 28th, and Sunday, March 29th, Easton Training Center will host the legendary Jongsanan “Woodenman” Fairtex for back-to-back Muay Thai seminars!

About Jongsanan Fairtex:

Jongsanan was a legendary fighter in his era, winning multiple championships in Thailand during the “Golden Era” of Muay Thai. Jongsanan was a stylish fighter who won Lumpinee titles (the premier stadium in Thailand) on two occasions during the 1990s. As well as having great hands with immense KO power, Jongsanan was excellent in the clinch and was a master of the sweep.Jongsanan’s 5th fight with rival Sakmongkol is one of the most revered fights in history and became known as “The Elbow Fight” as both fighters stood and traded for an entire round.

As a fighter, Jongsanan had a record of 98-28-0 (with 23 KO’s).

He was:

  • 2x Lumpini Champion
  • 2x ISKA World Champion
  • IKF World Champion
  • Strikeforce World Champion
  • Boxing Silver Medalist in Thailand’s “Kings Cup”
  • Boxing Silver Medalist in Thailand’s “Army Cup”
  • 1989 Thailand’s “Fight of the Year”

Today Jongsanan owns a Muay Thai gym in San Francisco, and we are incredibly lucky to be bringing him out to Colorado to share his knowledge.
