Announcements
- IN HOUSE TOURNAMENT: ETC Denver is hosting a Flood Relief Benefit In-House Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Tournament on November 2nd. This winter event will be for Adult Gi and No Gi divisions, as well as Kid’s Divisions. Register online OR at the front desk at your local academy.
- MASTERS WORLDS: Everyone competed really well this past weekend at Master’s Worlds in California. The competition was tough and everyone fought like a champ. Even the matches that were lost were close battles that could have gone either way. Make sure to congratulate your Coaches and Professors for going out there and putting it on the line. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu doesn’t end with competitions. Like many martial arts, it is a life long journey with ups and downs. Perseverance through the lows and humility through the highs is the key to success in life. Never forget that and always be prepared to fight another day.
- BOULDER HALLOWEEN- Halloween is finally here. The Kid’s Easton Martial Arts program will be having their annual party. Details and fliers will be posted this week. Last year was a blast. Lets make this year bigger and better! All kids are welcome. Whether they are already a member of our program or you are a student who has kid’s. We would like to ask for a $5 donation from parents to help tip the instructors that will be working. STAY TUNED FOR MORE INFO!
Speech
Be wise and recognize that every point doesn’t need arguing. We don’t have to prove everything right or wrong. Pick your battles and don’t be easily swayed into verbal conflict. You’ll live a happier, longer life.
