Our annual in-house Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament is coming up on Saturday April 29th at ETC Denver. This tournament will be open to Jiu Jitsu students from all Easton academies. Adults holding the rank of two-stripe white belt or higher may compete in both the gi and no-gi divisions, and kids of all ages and belt levels may compete in the gi division with instructor approval. Registration is $50 per person, and includes your limited edition t-shirt. Registration deadline is April 22nd.Â
Kids’s matches start at 9:00 AM and adults will begin at 12:00 PM.
The Colorado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition scene is always growing. There are several local tournaments in the Denver metro area every year, mostly put on by Fight to Win promotions. During these tournaments, hundreds of Jiu Jitsu competitors from all over the state can be found on the mats at the National Western Complex.
Easton’s in-house tournament is an event on a smaller scale. With competition open only to Easton students, it’s a smaller pool of fighters, and the perfect opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a Jiu Jitsu tournament. It’s always a fun day of friendly matches, and if you’ve been thinking about trying out a competition, you won’t want to miss the in-house tournament!
