On November 7th Coaches Danny Wilson and Wes Argrow fought at the Grizzly Rose on Sparta Combat League’s Guts and Glory card. Danny won his Muay Thai fight by split decision.

Tramell Wins the Title
Cheered on by a slew of supporters from Easton Training Center, Coach Chris Tramell beat Brian Scraper for a second time in Loveland on November 15th. One of Scraper’s kicks found its mark in the first round, fracturing Tramell’s rib, but he pushed through the pain to win by knockout in the third. Tramell is now Sparta Combat League’s Middleweight Champion.
Also on the card that night was Terrence Moore’s professional Muay Thai debut. He fought three hard rounds against Nick Laney, and put on a great show, including a second-round knockdown. Laney won in a split decision, but we’re proud of Terrence’s performance, and can’t wait to see him fight again!
Coach Tramell’s Fight
On Saturday November 8th ETC Boulder and ETC Denver each hosted an open house. We offered free classes in all disciplines, and invited the public to see what we’re all about. Members brought their friends, and it was a great day of fun and fitness. We’ll be doing it again soon, be sure to let your favorite workout buddies know!
Easton Wins the Fight to Win Tournament, Again.
ETC’s Jiu Jitsu athletes took to the mats at the 2014 Fight to Win Nationals: Zingano Memorial Cup. In keeping with tradition, we brought home team gold, with great showings by all of our competitors.

BVSD Day Camps
Easton Training Center Boulder is partnering with the Boulder Valley School District’s Lifelong Learning program to bring you day camps for children ages 4-12. These camps generally take place from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM on BVSD school holidays, and are open to ETC members and non-members alike. Members receive a discount on the registration fee, and can sign their children up at the front desk.
During the week of Thanksgiving, we had camp Monday through Wednesday. Dozens of kids spent their mornings playing games and learning new moves with our fun team of dedicated kids’ instructors. Keep an eye out for announcements about upcoming camps!
Park Roberts – Head CrossFit Coach
Coach Park is the head of Easton’s CrossFit program. He discovered CrossFit in 2010, and loved the way it challenged him. Park’s commitment to CrossFit goes beyond staying fit and healthy. He is currently training in hopes of competing in the CrossFit Games.
Park’s teaching style is no-nonsense, but motivation-backed. He understands that every student is at a different stage in their CrossFit journey, and has different goals, but he expects every one of his athletes to give him their all for the hour that they are in the box. In his eyes, effort earns respect.
If you’re interested in improving your form, putting yourself on the fast track for the advanced CrossFit class, or just getting in some great one-on-one training sessions, Park is available for private lessons. Email him at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a time.
