December is upon us once again, and another semi-annual Easton Training Center Muay Thai smoker is in the books. This year, we had 32 diligent and hardworking students participate, each of whom committed themselves to rigorous training for the past several months. These students represented six Easton schools and affiliates, and the smoker event was a truly exciting afternoon of them showcasing their skills.
Thanks to the head of our striking department, Sean Madden, Easton Fight Team’s head coach, Tony Cummings, and the continued support of our rockstar management team, Easton has progressively evolved into one of the region’s premier striking programs. From absolute beginners, to professional fighters, and everywhere in between, we are proud to have a safe place for everyone to learn, train, and grow.
Our coaching staff is acutely aware of the sacrifices and level of commitment this sport requires from participants. Despite this, Muay Thai remains a fringe sport, and is often overshadowed by MMA. It is our goal to take advantage of our resources, grow the sport in Colorado and beyond, and create more opportunities for the students who have found their place and their passion in Easton Muay Thai.
Coming up on the Muay Thai schedule is our two-day seminar (12/16 & 12/17) with Tiffany ‘TimeBomb’ Van Soest. She will be running a two-hour block in Boulder on Saturday, followed by a two-hour block at the Denver academy on Sunday. We look forward to an insightful and fun weekend of learning the game from one of the best in the business.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”10245″ img_size=”full”][vc_single_image image=”10244″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”10249″ img_size=”full”][vc_single_image image=”10248″ img_size=”full”][vc_single_image image=”10246″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
