Easton Holiday Gift Drive
It’s the time of year when we give thanks for our health, family, friends, and the years’ good fortune. It’s also a great time of year to lend a hand to families who are finishing out 2018 at the hospital with a sick child.
Supporting Children’s Hospital Colorado Patients and Families
Easton Training Center holds an annual holiday gift drive for the patients at Children’s Hospital Colorado. The gifts go to children who are spending the holiday season away from their homes because of illness or injury. Long hospital stays are difficult for families for so many reasons. For parents, that stress can be compounded during the holidays because of the added pressure of buying gifts, caring for other children, and trying to keep things as normal as possible during an abnormal time.
Through the Easton Holiday Gift Drive, we do our best to relieve some of that pressure. Our community is large and strong, and by banding together to play the role of Santa for the Children’s Hospital patients, we can make a big difference. You can pick up a paper ornament with a listed item at your home academy. Or simply select a gift from the list to bring in!
The hospital asks that all donations be new, in original packaging, and not gift wrapped.
Please bring all donations to the academy by Friday 12/21.
