[vc_row row_type=”row” text_align=”left” css_animation=””][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]On Wednesday August 15th, a group of Easton staff had the privilege of visiting Children’s Hospital Colorado to present a check for the funds raised at our summer BBQ Belt Promotion event. After all was said and done, the Easton Training Center martial arts community was able to raise $12,877 to donate to the hospital’s Rehabilitation Program.

The Rehabilitation Program includes inpatient and outpatient services for kids of all ages. It employs top-notch technology and care to help them recover cognitive and motor function after an injury or illness. During our visit, we were treated to a facility tour with a head physician and a head administrator from the Rehabilitation department. We got to see the department’s in-house classroom, where students of all ages get to be around other kids and re-adjust to school work while they are still in the hospital. We also visited several of the multi-modal rehab gyms, talked with an engineer in the high tech Gait Analysis Lab, and even got to meet some of the young patients who are benefiting from the Rehab Program’s care.

It was so special to visit the hospital, and to see the patients, staff, and facilities that our community’s donation will benefit. Thank you all for being part of this!
