  • Drills: Toriando

Kickboxing – Knees (Khao)

This week in Kickboxing, we focus on a dangerous mid-range and short-range weapon: the knee. We will look at the mechanics and usage of the straight knee and the angled knee, as well as the skip knee and the barn door knee from the inside position in the “clinch.”

Muay Thai – Clinch

This week we will focus on “Zone 1” attacks and clinch work. As we all know, clinch and grappling on the inside is an entirely separate game from punching and kicking at longer range. We will go over the fundamentals of clinch and positioning, as well as the basic offense, defense, and throws from the clinch. Don’t forget to take off your jewelry and take our your piercings before class this week. Also, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to bring a towel to dry off or a spare ranked shirt with you to class!

Kids – Conflict

How do we deal with Conflicts in life?

Little Tigers

  • BJJ – Maintaining Mount

Tigers – White Belt

  • Standing – Pulling Guard
  • Ground – Scissor Sweep

Tigers – Advanced

  • Standing – Under hook to Side Clinch (Split the Middle)
  • Ground – Sleeve and Collar to Omaplata

  • Congratulations to everyone from Easton who competed this weekend! We took home the 1st and 2nd place team trophies for Adults. Great work everyone and thank you to everyone who came out to coach and/or Support.
