Upcoming Matches for Easton BJJ Fighters!!!

Check out the upcoming fights for Easton BJJ team members and friends of the academy!

With the end of the year and New Years fast approaching, promotions are very busy filling their cards with the best fights and fighters available. We have several fighters heading into bouts and even more friends of EBJJ with big fights.

Here is a listing of upcoming fights for our teammates, training partners and friends!

Friday November 13th: Bernardo Fanti and Travis Gearheart are fighting in the Fight 2 Win: Bulls on Parade kickboxing card at Stampede night club in Aurora. This should have a ton of great striking!

Friday November 20th: Vellore Caballero returns and Mike Tousignant makes his MMA debut at Fight 2 Win: Loaded at Softball Country Pavillions. Seth is putting on good shows and this should continue the trend!

Friday December 4th: Duane “Bang” Ludwig is back! Ring of Fire’s end of year show is always great and this one is packed with big fighters! Along with Duane, we have our friends, Alvin “Kid” Robinson and Cody Donovan on the card. Also, Mike Nickels, Vinnie Magalhaes, Cameron Dollar and Kit Cope.

Saturday December 5th: Watch for Brendan Schaub every Wednesday on “The Ultimate Fighter” on SpikeTV. He won his first fight, so he should have his next one shown soon. Traditionally, almost all of the contestants get to fight at the TUF Finale, so hopefully we will see Brendan fighting that night!

Saturday December 19th: Coach Tyler Toner makes his WEC debut! The card will air on Versus and with any luck we will get to see Tyler’s fight in our living rooms! This card also marks Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone’s next fight.

Saturday February 21st 2010: It looks like our friend, Nate Marquardt, will face off with Chael Sonnen at UFC 110 in Australia. The fight isn’t contracted yet, but it is all but confirmed.

UFC 107, UFC 108, ???: So Brock Lesnar has backed out of both dates for his title defense against our guy, Shane Carwin, but Shane has been promised that he will get his shot as soon as Lesnar is healthy and ready to go.

That is it for now, but I’m sure we will be hearing from Eliot Marshall, Chaun Sims and more of the guys as slots are filled. be sure to check back often for updates and we should have some exciting interviews, picture and videos coming soon!

Best of luck and great success to all the fighters as they look to take the next steps in their MMA careers!

See you at the fights!
