“Performance Nutrition” advice is back!

“Performance Nutrition” advice is back!

I am going to tell it to you the way it is. Not tomorrow, not next week, but right now. You need to stop eating high fat, calorie-dense meat — or at least eat less of it.

No More High-Fat, Calorie-Dense Meat

The new nutrition guidelines unveiled by USDA and HHS will give you some good advices in terms of what you can eat for optimal performance: fill half your plate with veggies and fruit, eat less salt, drink low-fat milk, eat more seafood, etc.

The problem or should I say “beef” I have with the new Federal guidelines is the fact that they are not telling us exactly what kinds of foods to avoid.

My friends! I left you alone so you can eat all you want at the end of the year and celebrate! It’s time to get back on track and work at staying healthy. Stay tuned for a new year full of healthy nutrition tips and advice on getting a better body in 2011.
