Easton Summer Camps: Making Martial Artists

Over the course of the summer, ETC Denver and ETC Boulder hosted week-long day camp sessions every month. Kids ages 4-12 spent the week working with our staff of energetic, enthusiastic coaches, learning Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and fitness skills. Campers were split up by age group, and learned the martial arts in a setting similar to our regularly scheduled kids’ classes. The fitness portion introduced the kids to various movements and fitness concepts that they’ll be able to incorporate into a lifetime of active habits.

The ETC Boulder campers also spent a portion of each day on crafts, constructing a suit of samurai-style battle armor, which they used in the highly anticipated battle games on the last day of camp.

The camps were open to members and non-members alike, and the Boulder academy partnered with Boulder Valley School District’s Lifelong Learning to offer the camp to families who might not have otherwise heard of Easton’s programs. ETC Boulder regularly hosts one-day camp sessions through BVSD on school holidays, so if you have non-member friends who are interested in our day camp experience, please tell them to check out the Lifelong Learning website!
