Hey everyone, the new Cage Fitness program is starting today at the Littleton/Centennial/Highlands Ranch school and tomorrow at the Denver location! Rebeccah is about as pumped for it as anyone can be, and she can’t wait to see you guys out there. She put together some basic info for everyone, like what to expect and what you’ll need. We also got her to talk about her teaching style for anyone who hasn’t met her yet. So check it out, and get ready to get fit!
Rebeccah Hecke: Easton Fitness Instructor
“The heart of my training is teaching the body to be resistant to the forces set upon it and stable throughout any movement. With proper biomechanics then, the body is able to correctly and efficiently move and produce power, as well as develop gains in conditioning, strength, agility, speed and control. I teach people to move in the right way, I don’t just make them move.”
“In this way, athletes and fighters become more resilient and less prone to injury. They are able to produce power in a very efficient way, being less tired and more effective in competition. Those who are interested in perfecting their conditioning will notice improvements in all aspects of their fitness. Through my program, they too, will be able to overcome issues such as lower back pain.”
“I am passionate about my practice and attentive to detail, thus, I try and make sure I am constantly evaluating and assessing each of the class participants in order to offer the best training session possible to each individual.”
What You Can Expect
“You should expect a fun and exciting, up-beat class! Just as we teach and emphasize in every other class at Easton, I will begin with the fundamentals. This will involve foundational movement coaching, so new students must come in with open minds ready to learn and have fun. “
“For the first few classes you can expect very technical coaching, but you’re mistaken if you think you’re not going to sweat! And, from what I can tell, it seems like it’s been the rule of my classes: People leave tired, but somehow are always happy and feeling better than when they came in!”
