Over the weekend of September 25th and 26th, fourteen Easton competitors traveled to Las Vegas for the IBJJF Masters World Championship. Of these, eleven won their first matches, and seven medaled! Congratulations to everyone who competed!
The rundown:
Leanna Dittrich won double gold in her weight class and the open weigh division–one of only four competitors in the tournament to do so!
Rossie Snow won gold in her weight class by submitting every one of her opponents.
JJ Martinez the guard-passing machine took silver in his division.
Jake Bell took silver in his weight class, and despite being at a size disadvantage in the open weight, continued to wreck shop, snagging a bronze in the absolute.
Jill White took bronze in her weight class and silver in the open weight.
John Kane took bronze in his weight class.
Bob Ryckman, the eldest of the Easton competitors took silver in his weight class.
