Dates + venue
To Be Announced. We will update this section when the dates are released. We anticipate this event will take place around the end of May.
Walter Pyramid. 1250 N. Bellflower Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90840.
Travel + flights
We recommend arriving in Long Beach the day before the event starts. We recommend flying into John Wayne Airport (SNA).
Avoid afternoon and evening flights because if there is a delay and your child competes in the early morning the next day.
Lodging
There will be no suggested central locations for this event. Many Hotel, VRBO, or Airbnb options exist in Long Beach.
AMERICAN NATIONALS 2025
Please use this link to join our GroupMe for this event. We will use this group to communicate with competitors and their families during the competition.
We want all of our seasoned and newer competitors to consider prioritizing American Nationals this year. So, if you can only take one trip this year, we recommend American Nationals! The event provides a fantastic opportunity for all our students (Kids, Teens, and Adults) to gain next-level competitive experience in Gi and No Gi.

- Registration is not yet open. We will update this section when it is.
Dates + venue
To Be Announced. We will update this section when the dates are released. We anticipate this event will occur around the end of June or the beginning of July.
Las Vegas Convention Center. 3150 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89109.
Travel + flights
We recommend arriving in Las Vegas the day before the event starts.
Some families drive to Las Vegas, which can be far more economical than buying multiple flight tickets. The journey from Denver to Las Vegas is approximately 750 miles and 11-12 hours of driving.
We recommend flying into Las Vegas Airport (LAS) if traveling by airplane. Avoid afternoon and evening flights in case there is a delay, and your child competes in the early morning the next day.
Lodging
There will be no suggested central locations for this event.
In general, we recommend avoiding hotels on the Las Vegas strip. The Westgate Hotel, however, offers the advantage of being connected to the convention center where the event is held. Thus, you can walk from your hotel to the event. If you stay in a hotel, the food options will be more expensive but convenient.
There are many VRBO or Airbnb options in Las Vegas with cheaper nightly rates. They will likely be located further away from the venue, so the transportation or rental car cost is added. As well as parking fees. Food options will be cheaper but may be less accessible. Many rental properties have full kitchens for groceries.
PAN Kids 2025

Every year, Team Easton makes the pilgrimage to test our skills against many of the world’s most talented and dedicated youth Jiu-Jitsu competitors! It is a unique three-day event of camaraderie, family, and competition.

This event provides competitive opportunities for all age groups. We consider this the “Family Reunion” event for all Easton competitors! Therefore, this will be an excellent opportunity for all our students, coaches, and families to experience the camaraderie of competition together! It is a singularly unique event in the Jiu-Jitsu world, with a day-long conference with many booths, special guests, talks, seminars, and more. There is something for everyone!

Easton Competitor Guidelines for Pan Kids
Please discuss with your coaches whether your child is ready to compete at Pan Kids. Still, as a general guideline, we recommend that students meet the following criteria before competing at this level:
- Pan Kids only has divisions for grey belt and up. Students must at least be a grey/white belt.
- They have won their division (age, weight, current rank) at three local tournaments.
IBJJF Membership Process
To register for Pan Kids, all participants must have an active IBJJF membership. We recommend starting this process as soon as possible. It does take some time because signed Professor approval is required.
- Use this link: Membership | IBJJF
Athlete Registration
- Pan Kids is for kids ages 4-15. The IBJJF doesn’t define your age by your birthday but rather: (Current Year) – (Birth Year)
- Example: (2023) – (2010) = 13
- Please remember that athletes must weigh in on the day of their competition right before their first match in their GI.
- When registering your child and selecting their weight class, please verify their weight while wearing the uniform they plan to compete in. They will only get one chance to make weight the day of the event. We do not recommend cutting any child’s weight for a jiujitsu tournament.
- We recommend re-weighing your child on athlete check day. Kids grow like weeds–they may weigh more than their initial registration date. Sometimes, kids’ weight can fluctuate significantly if they have been recently sick or injured,
- Please discuss questions about which division your child should compete in with your coach.
IBJJF Uniform Requirements
There are strict GI requirements for this competition. Please ensure an Easton patch on your Gi.
If your GI has additional patches, please ensure they are in an IBJJF legal location.
We will also have custom Team Easton Competition gear for this event, and we request that all of our participants wear their gear at the tournament.
Visit this link for full details: Uniform | IBJJF
Quick Summary:
- It must be royal blue, white, or black and made of cotton or cotton-like material.
- It must be uniform, meaning the top and bottom must be the same color.
- GI top should come no more than 5 cm from the athlete’s wrist when arms are extended.
- GI pants should not exceed 5 cm above the ankle bone.
- They will also verify the following measurements: lapel thickness of 1.3 cm, GI collar width of 5 cm, and sleeve opening at full extension of 7 cm.
- Athletes cannot wear a t-shirt underneath the GI; if anything, it must be a rash guard.
- They are also prohibited from wearing pants (or spats) under the GI.
