The CrossFit ETB Holiday Throwdown and potluck was a huge success this past Saturday at the CrossFit ETB gym.  A total of 23 athletes participated in one individual WOD and one group WOD. The individual WOD consisted of Wall Balls and Power Cleans with a ten-minute cutoff. The group WOD was performed as a team of three. As a team, athletes had to accumulate 100 Box Jump Overs, 100 Russian Kettle Bell Swings, 100 V-Ups, and 100 Goblet Squats. However, to increase the challenge, we threw in a little twist.  Every minute on the minute, all team members had to perform five SYNCHRONIZED burpee! By the end of the day, everyone was tired and ready for four pots of delicious homemade chili.  Thanks to everyone who came out! We look forward to seeing you at the next CrossFit ETB Throwdown!
As the weather gets colder, and more holidays approach, it’s easy to let your fitness fall to the wayside. Don’t let it! Give yourself that extra boost of motivation with CrossFit ETB’s 2nd Annual ROW-cember, starting Monday December 5th. Find a partner, and as a team, you will accumulate 50,000 meters of rowing in the month of December. Every Monday of the month, a new Challenge will be announced. You and your teammate must complete each Challenge together throughout the month. Whoever finishes the 50,000 meters and Challenges first wins! May speed and strength be forever in your favor!
