Matrix Martial Arts offers Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Kickboxing for all skill levels and ages. Since opening in 2020, our Castle Rock academy has grown into a tight-knit martial arts community, welcoming beginners and experienced martial artists alike. Whether you're just getting started or looking to sharpen your technique, our expert coaches will guide you every step of the way.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Learn real-world self-defense and build confidence through technical training in our beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes.
Muay Thai & Kickboxing

About Matrix Martial Arts
Located just outside of the Castle Rock Outlets, Matrix Martial Arts is an Easton Training Center affiliate and a cornerstone for martial arts in the area. Founded in 2020 by Black Belt Derek Alumbaugh, Matrix offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai for all skill levels in a welcoming and structured environment.
As an Easton affiliate, Matrix members can train at any Easton academy—and vice versa—expanding your opportunities to learn, grow, and challenge yourself.
- EXPERT INSTRUCTORS - Led by BJJ Black Belt Derek Alumbaugh, along with experienced coaches specializing in both competition and self-defense.
- DEDICATED MAT SPACE - 3,000 sq. ft. facility with 1,400 sq. ft. of mats exclusively for Jiu-Jitsu training.
- STRIKING AREA - Wall-to-wall matting for safe Muay Thai & MMA training, complete with Thai pads and heavy bags.
- WELCOMING & SAFE ENVIRONMENT - A clean, structured, and supportive place to train.
