Easton BJJ Teen Belt Promotion February 2026

Easton BJJ Teen Belt Promotion February 2026 recap:

The second-ever all-teens belt promotion was a huge success! We established these events in 2025 to give special space and recognition to our teen Brazilian Jiu Jitsu students as they receive their first adult belts.

In the IBJJF belt system, kids wear youth belts, which include different colors and a different promotion schedule than belts for adults. However, at age 16, teens become eligible to receive their first adult belt. Kids who have been training for a longer period and are deemed skillful enough by their instructors will skip the adult white belt and receive the blue belt.

At this event, we promoted

Teens + Tigers Randori was a fun opportunity for our students to train and grow together. We encourage all of the kids in the Jiu Jitsu program to attend this event, whether they are getting promoted or not.

Blue Belt Promotion Ceremony: We recognized our new juvenile blue belts with dedicated individual ceremonies, highlighting the years of hard work that led them to this point.

This is a special moment in each student’s journey, and we were so proud to celebrate with them!
