Wes Argrow

Boulder, Purple Shirt, Striking, Striking Coach

Coach Wes Argrow hails from Oklahoma, where he studied business management at Langston University. He moved to Colorado in 2009 to be closer to his father, who own a local business. Colorado has become his second home and he absolutely loves living in Boulder.

Wes has always been interested in Mixed Martial Arts. He started boxing in 2010, and after a few years of training, and fighting in the Golden Gloves, he decided to take his skills to the next level. He’d heard great things about Easton Training Center, so he knew it was the place for him, and joined in 2013.

Wes’ boxing experience was instrumental in helping him to understand the art and techniques of Muay Thai. Though striking martial arts are his specialty, Wes also trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which he also enjoys greatly. He believes that training in various disciplines is the best path to becoming the fighter he strives to be.

Wes loves teaching boxing and kickboxing, and gets a great deal of fulfillment from watching his students grow and reach their goals. Having a positive impact on the lives of his students is his number one priority. He finds that the discipline and hard work ethic that students cultivate as a part of their martial arts practice carry over into their lives outside of the academy. Wes also believes strongly in the value of reinforcing fundamentals, and finds that working with his students improves his own practice as well.

Wes is a World Kickboxing Association silver medalist (2016), and a Thai Boxing Authority Muay Thai World Expo champion (2017).

Boxing, kickboxing, and Jiu Jitsu have long been a major part of Wes’ life, and he intends to pursue his training to the highest professional level possible. He has trained at Phuket Top Team in Thailand, and would love to continue to travel across the world to study martial arts.
