New in Arvada

By Matt Bloss

The Arvada Remodel

Things have been moving quickly at Easton Training Center – Arvada in the Summer months! In our recent buildout, we added a whole new room of mat space. The academy now boasts 2,640 square feet of mat for Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai training. The Arvada remodel wouldn’t have been possible without the tireless efforts of Professor Mike Tousignant and Arvada GM Jeff Ake. We also saw an incredible amount of volunteer efforts from the wonderful Easton community of students and instructors.

It was a large-scale project, and we finished it in a single weekend! The short window of time it took to complete was a true testament to the power of Easton schools and students, and what we can accomplish when we all come together. Friends and family pitched in to get things done in time, and we are so excited for students from all the other academies to come and train in our amazing new space!

As we’ve settled into our new digs, the new mat space has also allowed us to add tons of classes. They’re led by a wealth of different coaches throughout the Easton family of academies. Be sure to check out the new expanded schedule at ETC – Arvada.

 Summer Camps

With the additional incredible mat space, we were able to put on our most successful Kids Summer Camp yet, which took place from June 12 to June 16. Kids from both our Little Tigers and Tigers programs participated in a week of fun. Camp days included training sessions in the arts of Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and plenty of our students’ favorite games. Our next Summer Camp session will take place from July 31 – August 4. If you’re interested, you can find more information and register online or by phone at 303-463-1663.

With so much on the horizon for ETC – Arvada, we’re extremely excited to share our amazing slice of the Easton community. We invite all Easton students and their friends to come train in our rapidly expanding academy. We can’t wait to see even more fresh faces around the gym!
