After a Thanksgiving full of gratitude for our families, friends, and good fortune over the last year, it’s a great time to think about paying that good fortune forward. For many families in Colorado, this holiday season will be especially difficult because of the illness of one of their children. Buying gifts becomes a struggle because of the build-up of medical expenses, and the family’s focus needs to be 100% on getting their child well. This year, the Easton family of academies will once again hold a holiday gift drive to benefit Children’s Hospital Colorado.
Keep an eye out for a tree in your academy. The tree will have paper ornaments, each of which will have the name of a present from the hospital’s wish list. If you’d like to participate, take an ornament home, purchase the gift, and return it (without wrapping) to your academy by December 22nd.
