Why Study at Easton?
At Easton Training Centers, boxing is more than a fitness class. In Easton’s boxing program, you’ll learn real fighting techniques! While getting a great workout is an important part of every class, Easton instructors also emphasize proper, applicable technique. Instead of throwing your punches into empty space, you will practice your combinations on the heavy bags.
Safety is our priority. Our instructors will make sure you are executing each strike correctly, teaching you to control your movements.
All of our coaches are knowledgeable and experienced fighters. Many of them compete regularly in amateur or professional matches, and some have even traveled abroad to fight. When you learn from the best, you will become the best!
What is the difference between Kickboxing classes and Boxing classes?
At Easton, Kickboxing is beginners’ Muay Thai, and includes kicks, elbows, and knees. In boxing, the only strikes you’ll throw are punches. In both classes you’ll learn how to properly position your hands, shift your weight, and most importantly, how to strike effectively. There is no person-to-person contact in this class. Partner drills will be limited to catching punches on the gloves, and most combinations will be practiced on the heavy bag, a time-tested training tool in combat sports. Our kickboxing and boxing classes will challenge you to push yourself, and they are sure to get your heart rate up!
