On Saturday August 22nd, the Easton Academies sent a large group of Jiu Jitsu competitors onto the mats in Denver’s National Western Complex. Fight to Win Promotions’ annual Colorado Open tournament began with kids’ matches in the morning, followed by adult competitors throughout the afternoon. We saw some impressive performances, and individual Easton competitors came home with a bunch of hardware to show for it. As a group, Team Easton won the tournament, bringing home the team cup, as well as Fight to Win’s new Achilles Cup, where 20 competitors from each team square off to see who is the pound-for-pound best team.
