Welcome to CrossFit ETB!
If you are looking to get a full-body workout and get in the best shape of your life, Easton Training Center’s CrossFit program is for you! Our CrossFit program is led by the top instructors in Boulder and we have classes for students of all levels–from the complete beginner to advanced CrossFit competitors.
If you want to get a quick, effective workout in just 30 minutes, check out ETB30 classes! These high-intensity classes will get your heart pumping and your muscles working, and no experience is necessary.
If you’re new, and would like to learn CrossFit movements and skills, the ETB30 classes are the place to start. Over the course of a few weeks, you will learn the basics of CrossFit, preparing you for the movements you’ll encounter in every WOD. Once you’re comfortable there, you will take our Barbell Instruction classes. These will teach you the fundamentals of form for safe barbell lifts.
Finally, if you’re already a seasoned CrossFit athlete, we have WOD classes seven days a week! Join our fun, supportive community!
Why Train CrossFit?
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program developed by Coach Greg Glassman. It incorporates a wide variety of movements, with the goal of boosting overall fitness and functional strength. Glassman developed the CrossFit regimen with the intention of creating a quantifiable measure of fitness. He defines health and fitness as the ability to carry out increased work capacity over broad time, modal, and age domains. That is, if a person is able to lift 300 pounds, but can’t run half a mile, he or she is not truly fit. Likewise, a marathon runner who cannot lift half his or her body weight is not truly fit by Glassman’s definition.
The movements included in every Workout of the Day (WOD) are designed to raise CrossFit practitioners to their physical peak. Whether your goal is to compete in the CrossFit Games, supplement your other workouts, or just get in better shape, our CrossFit program will help you get there. CrossFit will help you to physically excel at everything else you do. The constantly varied functional movements you practice in class will keep you on your toes—you’ll never be bored!
