Nick Kline – Head Instructor Arvada
Nick Kline is a Colorado native who grew up in Thornton, a suburb north of Denver. While attending the University of Colorado at Denver, Nick began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training with Amal in June of 2000. He graduated with a degree in Finance, and decided to focus on training instead of entering the financial world.
Nick started competing after receiving his blue belt in 2001, and his primary focus was his progression in Jiu-Jitsu. He has been teaching classes at the Boulder Academy since 2004, and he started working at Easton Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu full-time in the summer of 2005.
Over the past year, Nick has been an avid participant in the CrossFit W.O.D. (Workout of the Day) an intense cross-training program that is ideal for whole body activities like Jiu-Jitsu. Nick teaches adult Jiu-Jitsu classes, and runs the conditioning classes.
