Jeff Suskin – BJJ Black Belt- Chief Motivator

Originally from Long Island, NY, Jeff “Sus” Suskin moved to Telluride, Colorado, in 1992, after completing the Colorado Outward Bound School’s “Leadership Semester” and then to Boulder where he settled for 11 years and discovered the UFC and Easton BJJ.

He moved to Denver in 2001 and after 9+ years of training, received his Black Belt in June 2008. One of Easton BJJ’s original students, Jeff has traveled and competed in tournaments across the USA and Brazil including Grapplers Quest, Pancration USA, the World Masters and Seniors, Colorado Nationals, and Pan Americans.

 

Jeff has taken a lifetime of playing sports at the highest level and translated those techniques over to coaching BJJ. He played varsity lacrosse for The University of Massachusetts and now loves telemark skiing, yoga, Muay Thai/American Boxing, Tennis and studying Brazilian Portuguese. What’s most important to Jeff is the integration of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu into our students’ everyday lives. Helping them find flow both on and off the mats. Jeff owns the Dining Out Magazine Chain as well as the Jet Hotel and restaurant XO in LoDo Denver.
